Having been avidly immersed in the business of real estate for more than 25 years, Martin has developed a deep knowledge and understanding of the industry, and brings a steadfast devotion to the long-term viability of the Skyline Group.
Martin recognizes that a fully engaged workforce is a highly productive workforce. With the Skyline Group now employing over 600 people across Canada, Martin primarily focuses on preserving and promoting the values and culture upon which Skyline was built, ensuring that as Skyline continues to reach new heights, it also remains firmly planted on the ground. His expertise in the “people” aspect of Skyline’s business has garnered him many speaking opportunities, as well as several people and culture-oriented accolades for the Skyline Group, such as the Aon Best Employer in Canada award, and Waterstone’s Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures designation.
Martin holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Management Economics in Industry and Finance from the University of Guelph, and is committed to continual independent learning on all topics relevant to the success of Skyline’s customers, people, and community. Martin sits on the Skyline Apartment REIT Board of Trustees.
