Welcome Home to Nova Scotia

Nova Scotians enjoy over 13,000 km of coastline in Canada’s most populous Atlantic province, so it makes sense that it’s known as Canada’s ocean playground. Residents of Nova Scotia enjoy year-round visits to ocean beaches, provincial parks, and the Cabot Trail, as well as a thriving nightlife scene and welcoming residential communities.

There’s a lot of history packed into the small province, including one of the oldest commercial breweries in North America, Alexander Keith’s Brewery in Halifax. The province’s moderate weather allows for a variety of pastimes such as skiing, skating, hiking, golfing, swimming, fishing, whale-watching, and much more. Be sure to take the ferry to Dartmouth from Halifax (it’s only a few dollars!) and hit the shopping and restaurant scene downtown, including places like Portland Street Creperie.
