Skyline Living Rental Process: How to Apply for an Apartment
Explore listings, book a viewing, and apply with confidence using our 5 clear steps and dedicated support.

Step 1: Search Apartments by City, Budget, or Lifestyle
Every Skyline Living property is designed around what matters most to you. Live where location and amenities come together to provide comfort, enjoyment, and ease.
- Search by city, province, or apartment type directly on our listings page.
- Filter your results by budget or select amenities that suit your needs such as pet-friendly buildings, laundry in-suite, or fitness rooms.
- View your results on the map to see local highlights and nearby necessities, or by property tiles.
- Availability is clearly marked, with the “Starting at” prices reflecting the lowest available unit of each bedroom category.
Step 2: Schedule a Tour or Virtual Viewing
Explore the apartment with a tour that fits your schedule. You’ll typically see the available unit or a comparable one. Contact the on-site team through the listing, or by phone to schedule your tour.
Step 3: Complete your Skyline Living rental application
Ready to apply? Applications are completed with on-site staff or online where available. To ensure a smooth process, you'll need certain documents and information to fill out your application, which varies by province.
Application Checklist by Province
Every province has its own rental regulations and requirements. Use these guides to prepare your documents and complete your application.
Step 4: Application Review and Approval
Once your application is complete, your Leasing Agent or Resident Manager will contact your references and submit everything to our Rental Application Team. Most applicants hear back within 48 hours of submission. If additional details are needed, we’ll reach out promptly to keep things moving.
Step 5: Sign your lease and prepare to move in
Once your application is approved, you will sign your lease in person or online. Deposits paid during the application will be applied to your tenant ledger. As move-in day approaches, your Resident Manager will share information on:
- Utility setup (based on your building’s requirements)
- Securing tenant insurance (we recommend Apollo for convenient coverage).
- Booking the elevator (if applicable)
- Accessing the building and parking areas
You’re Home! Welcome to Skyline Living
Moving in is an exciting milestone, and we’re here to help make it seamless. Together with your Resident Manager, you’ll complete a move-in inspection to ensure everything is ready and receive your keys, parking pass, and additional building information.
