Helen Howard, Resident Manager at Peterborough’s Time Square Apartments on Hunter Street East, took home the Canadian Federation of Apartment Association (CFAA) “On-Site Employee of the Year” award at the Federation’s annual Rental Housing Conference on Wednesday, June 8.

Helen’s above-and-beyond efforts have directly contributed to the Time Square building’s exceptionally low vacancy, low turnover, and increased profitability, as well as a strong sense of community among the community’s residents.

Skyline Living is extremely proud to have Helen on the team.

“Helen is always proactive and tackles all issues head-on,” said Andrew Arklie, Regional Director for Skyline Living. “Her ‘can-do’ mindset and positive attitude is infectious, and she is extremely well-liked by her supervisors, colleagues and – most importantly – the residents who live in her community!”

CFAA hosts the Rental Housing Conference annually, and this is its first year hosting an awards program. Six award categories were available to landlords, suppliers, and property management associations to recognize industry achievements.

Andrea Rocheleau, Senior Property Manager at Skyline Living, was a top-3 finalist for CFAA’s “Off-Site Staff of the Year” award. Both Helen and Andrea were also recognized with 2015 FRPO awards for their achievements and dedication.

Based in Guelph, Ontario, Skyline Living operates over 170 apartment communities in 47 cities across Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec, and is always striving to achieve new heights. Skyline Living is a division of the Skyline Group of Companies, which has been nationally recognized for its commitments to company culture, customer service, community service, and environmental excellence through a number of industry awards.
