Skyline Volunteers at "Winter Warm Up" Fundraising Event

On February 15th, 2017, volunteers from Skyline helped over 300 guests get out of the cold and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring dishes from local Guelph restaurants - plus a silent auction and live music, all for a great cause. The annual Winter Warm-up event is organized by Shelldale Better Beginnings, Better Futures, a local non-profit that provides social support programs for hundreds of families in the Guelph area. Shelldale BBBF is also one of Skyline's key charity partners.

The Winter Warm-up event raised over $11,000 for Shelldale's dozens of programs, including a Breakfast club, youth drop-in programs, parent support programs, and a girls' art group. Skyline staff at Skyline's Head Office and Fountain Street offices in Guelph also supported the event through the Winter Warm Up's takeout-order and delivery option.
